we like to think of ourselves as ambassadors for the slightly old-fashioned, smidgen off-key & yet distinctively stylish.

The Surreal House

SHEEKGEEK looks forward to the opening of The Surreal House coming to the barbican Art Gallery on June tenth. We're particularly excited because we are informed that the work of Joseph Cornell (a serious SHEEKGEEK if ever there was) will be on display. Cornell is definitely one of SHEEKGEEK'S favourite artists and we heartily recommend reading Utopia Parkway if you can lay your hands on a copy.

Are you Present and Correct?

When SHEEKGEEK first visited Present and Correct it was as if all their Christmases had come at once. They have the finest selection of new and old stationary and some of the loveliest greetings cards around. We've become a regular customer and we just love their aesthetic. Plus, as if all of this wasn't enough they even publish a "list of the week" 10/10 we say!

Polly Morgan

Here at SHEEKGEEK, we can't help but find the work of Polly Morgan utterly captivating. We saw her work most recently at the fantastic show called "The Age of the Marvellous." We can't wait for her solo show in July at Haunch of Venison , another SHEEKGEEK favourite.

Mr Fantastic's back!

SHEEKGEEK were absolutely delighted when the DVD of Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr Fox became available. SHEEKGEEK had waited with excited, patience for the film to come out last year. Now back on the small screen, complete with fantastic extras, Mr Fox is back! SHEEKGEEK is a long standing fan of Anderson's work and the immense rigour he employs for the styling of each project. In particular, we were so enthralled to learn that for Fantastic Mr Fox Anderson photographed, recorded and catalogued every piece of furniture in Dahl's home in order to create miniatures for the shooting of the film. Mr Anderson, SHEEKGEEK salutes you.
